
Superior University Lahore hosted the 2nd International Medical Imaging Conference (MICON), marking a significant milestone in advancing innovation and collaboration in medical imaging.
The event welcomed over 400 participants, including 23 distinguished guest speakers, 60 poster presenters, and six panelists. It began with a series of hands-on workshops at renowned hospitals in Lahore, led by field experts who provided participants with practical insights into emerging imaging techniques and technologies.
The conference officially commenced on December 7 with an Inauguration Ceremony that included inspiring speeches by eminent dignitaries and thought-provoking keynote addresses by national and international experts. These sessions spotlighted groundbreaking advancements in medical imaging and the pivotal role of technology in revolutionizing healthcare.
Four interactive speaker sessions followed, featuring presentations from 23 esteemed experts, each offering unique perspectives on innovations in radiology and medical imaging. The day culminated in a highly engaging panel discussion, “Preparing for the Future: How AI and Innovation Are Redefining the Roles of Radiology Professionals.” Moderated by Ms. Sana Zaheer Qureshi, the panel featured leading experts such as Dr. Zaheer Sherazi, Dr. M. Imran Khan, and Dr. Zareen Fatima, who provided actionable insights into the evolving landscape of radiology in the age of artificial intelligence.
The conference emphasized the importance of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration in shaping the future of medical imaging. It fostered valuable discussions, facilitated knowledge exchange, and strengthened networks among professionals and innovators in the field.
