Azra Naheed Dental College and Pakistan Citizens Alliance signs MOU to Expand Oral Health Services

A step toward improving oral health communities has been taken with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Azra Naheed Dental College (ANDC) and the Pakistan Citizens Alliance (PCA). This partnership is built on a shared vision to enhance community well-being through preventive dental care and awareness. The MoU marks a meaningful alliance between healthcare and civic engagement, aiming to deliver sustainable impact through joint initiatives.

The partnership will focus on organizing dental health awareness programs and providing basic oral healthcare in areas that lack access to proper dental facilities. Trained faculty and students from ANDC will lead these activities by conducting free dental checkups, offering preventive treatments, and educating the public about oral hygiene practices with the full institutional support, including necessary equipment and professional guidance. These activities are designed to blend practical student learning with real-world community service. PCA will play a crucial role in coordinating logistics, gaining access to local schools and communities, and engaging relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective implementation.

This collaboration is a powerful union of education, service, and social responsibility. By combining healthcare expertise , the MoU sets a foundation for long-term, ethical, and impactful community engagement.  ANDC and PCA are working not only to improve oral health outcomes but also promote a spirit of service and awareness among the next generation of dental professionals.
