
Superior University proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of Ms. Ayesha Yaqoob, Clinical Demonstrator and Program Leader at the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, on securing the globally prestigious Chevening Scholarship 2025–26, funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
Ms. Yaqoob will now embark on a transformative academic journey to the University College London (UCL), one of the world’s leading institutions in cardiovascular science, research, and education. She will be pursuing her MSc in Cardiovascular Science, a program that is at the forefront of global medical research and innovation.
The Chevening Scholarship is widely regarded as one of the most competitive and distinguished international awards. For the 2025/26 cycle, the scholarship program received over 102,274 applications from more than 160 countries, out of which only around 1% of applicants were selected. This extraordinary level of competition highlights the excellence and determination that Ms. Yaqoob demonstrated in earning her place among the world’s most promising future leaders.
Her achievement not only reflects her individual dedication to advancing healthcare and education but also stands as a shining example of Superior University’s commitment to nurturing globally competent graduates and faculty members.
