A safe space ro heal: Superior University opens Well-being Centre for students and faculty*

Superior University has always believed that true excellence begins with a healthy mind and a balanced life. In a landmark step toward nurturing the emotional and mental wellness of its students and faculty, the university has launched its Well-being Centre — a safe, supportive, and confidential space dedicated to fostering mental health and holistic well-being.

The Well-being Centre is staffed with trained professional counsellors, therapists, and psychologists who provide one-on-one counselling, group sessions, and wellness programs. The centre offers a compassionate environment where students and faculty can talk, reflect, and heal, empowering them to manage stress, enhance resilience, and build emotional strength.

The Centre was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Sumaira Rehman, Rector Superior University, along with the senior leadership team, marking a significant milestone in the university’s ongoing commitment to student success and happiness.

Speaking at the inauguration, Prof. Dr. Sumaira Rehman emphasized the importance of mental health in academic and personal growth, highlighting Superior’s dedication to developing well-rounded, emotionally intelligent graduates who thrive both in life and career.

With this initiative, Superior University continues to lead with compassion and innovation — creating a campus culture that prioritizes care, connection, and well-being.
