Superior University Faculty Represents Pakistan at Prestigious Asia-Europe Education Innovation Forum

Dr. Tehreem Masood, Head of the Department of Software Engineering at Superior University, represented Pakistan and the university at the influential 6th ASEF Higher Education Innovation Laboratory (ASEFInnoLab6). The international forum, held at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Slovakia, convened academic leaders, policymakers, and innovation experts from over 50 Asian and European countries to shape the future of tertiary education.

At the core of the laboratory, Dr. Masood presented her team’s award-winning research on “Universities’ Role in Developing Skills for a Powered Future.” Her presentation provided strategic insights into bridging the global artificial intelligence (AI) and digital literacy gap, emphasizing curriculum transformation and industry-academia partnerships. Furthermore, Dr. Masood contributed significantly as a peer reviewer for other projects and as a co-author of the culminating ASEFInnoLab6 Manifesto, a policy-oriented document outlining actionable recommendations for educational innovation.

This distinguished participation places Superior University at the forefront of international dialogue on educational reform and technological adaptation. Dr. Masood’s role underscores the university’s commitment to excellence in research, global engagement, and thought leadership. It reflects the institution’s strategic investment in empowering its faculty to contribute to worldwide knowledge networks, directly aligning with its mission to cultivate an academic environment that addresses global challenges and prepares future-ready graduates.
