Superior University, in collaboration with the Meri Pehchan Welfare Foundation, successfully organised an engaging and thought-provoking session with CARBS (Chaudhary Abdul Rehman Business School), where meaningful conversations translated into impactful ideas.
The session focused on the critical theme of mental health and the importance of a healthy state of mind, particularly among university students seeking academic and emotional support. Participants highlighted how mental health stigma continues to act as a silent barrier in society, often preventing students from seeking timely help and guidance.
The discussion emphasized the importance of changing perceptions around mental health, encouraging open conversations, and creating supportive environments within academic institutions. It was also noted that promoting help-seeking behaviour can significantly improve students’ emotional well-being, academic performance, confidence, and overall quality of life.
A key contribution to the success of the session came from the Office of Employability Centre and Alumni Relations, whose efforts helped organise and enhance the impact of the event.
The session proved to be a highly enriching experience for students, offering not only awareness but also clarity, direction, and motivation for their personal and professional development.
