
Superior University successfully organised a comprehensive Mock Practical Examination for Culinary Arts students under the **National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) programme, creating a real-time professional assessment environment with the involvement of renowned industry experts.
The initiative aimed to bridge academic learning with industry standards by providing students with hands-on experience in a jury-based evaluation system. It enabled participants to demonstrate their culinary skills under professional conditions while gaining valuable exposure to real-world expectations.
Distinguished culinary professionals served as judges for the session, including Chef Hamid Ud Din, a former expert at Marriott Hotel Karachi, La Arrium France, and Alliance France, and currently a Culinary Instructor at TEVTA Lahore, along with Chef Khalid Rasheed, CEO & Founder of Pesto Restaurant Lahore. Their presence added significant value to the learning experience.
Through detailed assessments, expert guidance, and constructive feedback, students gained confidence and refined their technical expertise. The judges also shared mentorship insights that helped students better understand professional culinary standards and career expectations.
