Superior University Faculty of Pharmacy Research Published in Scopus Q2 Journal on Anti-Obesity Phytomedicine Study

The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), Superior University, has congratulated Rimsha Ahsan, MPhil Pharmacology student at the Faculty of Pharmacy, along with her supervisor and co-author Dr. Kanwal Ashiq (Lecturer, Faculty of Pharmacy), on the successful publication of their research in a Scopus Q2 (ESCI-indexed) journal.

The study, titled “Phytochemical profiling and anti-obesity potential of the methanol extract of Carica papaya ripe fruit peel,” has been published in the Avicenna Journal of Phytomedicine.

This research contributes significantly to the fields of phytomedicine and anti-obesity science, highlighting the therapeutic potential of plant-based compounds in addressing metabolic health challenges.
