Promoting healthier communities begins with awareness, prevention, and accessible care. The Department of Community Dentistry at Superior University organized a Dental Health Camp at Allah Walay Foundation, providing dental students with an opportunity to serve the community while strengthening their clinical and communication skills.
During the camp, students conducted oral health screenings for the foundation’s staff and workers, identified common dental concerns, and provided personalized guidance on oral hygiene, preventive care, and maintaining good oral health. The activity allowed students to apply their academic knowledge in a practical community setting while developing a compassionate approach to patient care.
The camp also included a live demonstration of proper handwashing techniques. Participants were guided on effective hand hygiene practices and their role in reducing the spread of infectious diseases.
