As the world looks for more sustainable ways to feed a growing population, circular agriculture offers a practical path toward reducing waste, protecting resources, and strengthening food systems.
At the International Conference on Contemporary Islamic Sciences (ICCIS) 2026, Engr. Shabbir Ahmed Kalwar, NESPAK/TURKPAK Project Manager and Team Leader, will join the panel discussion on “Circular Agriculture for Sustainable Food Security.” A registered member of the American Society of Agricultural Engineers and the Asian Association for Agricultural Engineering, AIT Bangkok, he brings extensive expertise in agricultural engineering and sustainable development.
The discussion will explore circular agriculture, sustainable food systems, and their connection with Islamic perspectives on responsible resource use and environmental stewardship.
The panel discussion will be held on 15 September 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Dental Board Room, Main Campus, Superior University.
ICCIS 2026 will provide a platform for meaningful academic dialogue on how knowledge, sustainability, and Islamic thought can contribute to solutions for a more secure food future.
