The Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP) has conferred the Academic Excellence Award 2025 upon Prof. Dr. Sumaira Rehman, Rector Superior University, in a prestigious ceremony at the Governor House, Lahore.
Under her visionary leadership, Superior University has achieved exceptional milestones on the global stage. In the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025, the university stands among the world’s top 101–200 in Quality of Education and is ranked overall among the top 301–400 universities worldwide. It also holds a global position of 301 in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) and is listed in the QS Asia Rankings 2025 within the 751–800 band.
As the sole representative body of private sector universities in Pakistan, APSUP works to elevate the higher education sector through collective efforts, fostering collaboration among member institutions, facilitating students nationwide, and presenting policy recommendations to government bodies to ensure inclusive decision-making.
