
The Department of Paediatrics at Azra Naheed Medical College organized an educational seminar on pneumonia on November 3, 2025. The event brought together faculty and medical students to discuss current approaches to diagnosing, managing, and preventing this significant respiratory illness.
Under the supervision of Head of Department Professor Dr. Iqbal Ahmad Azhar, the seminar featured presentations from students Farheen Ghouri, Hassan Ashraf, Sara Ehsan Bhutta, Warda Khalid, Ahtisham Liaqat, and Maryam Sumbal. Their comprehensive presentations covered clinical aspects of pneumonia while emphasizing evidence-based treatment protocols and preventive strategies.
The event was attended by distinguished faculty members including Principal Professor Dr. Muhammad Aslam, Head of Department of Medicine Professor Dr. M. Atif Qureshi, and Head of Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology Professor Dr. Nazia Badar, along with other clinical sciences faculty. Their presence highlighted the interdisciplinary approach to medical education at ANMC.
