Azra Naheed Medical College Hosts Student-Led Poster Competition on HIV/AIDS Awareness

Azra Naheed Medical College (ANMC), a constituent college of Superior University, recently hosted a dynamic and purposeful poster competition focused on global health awareness. Organised by the Department of Pathology, the event united MBBS students from first to final year, who collectively channeled their creativity towards the critical theme: “Let Communities Lead in the Fight Against AIDS.”

The competition provided a vibrant platform for students to engage deeply with issues of public health education, prevention strategies, and the pivotal role of community leadership in combating HIV/AIDS. Through their innovative poster designs, participants visually communicated powerful messages about solidarity, stigma reduction, and scientific understanding, reflecting a strong commitment to social responsibility and global health advocacy.

This initiative underscores ANMC’s dedication to integrating community health education and creative expression into the medical curriculum. By encouraging students to explore health challenges through an artistic and communicative lens, the college fosters a more holistic, empathetic, and community-oriented approach to medical practice. The event highlights Superior University’s broader mission of developing healthcare professionals who are not only clinically proficient but also actively engaged in public health leadership and health promotion within the societies they serve.
