CAKCCIS Hosts Research Workshop on Academic Publishing

Superior University, through its Chaudhry Abdul Khaliq Center for Contemporary Islamic Sciences (CAKCCIS), continues to strengthen its commitment to research excellence by organizing a highly engaging workshop titled “How to Publish a Research Paper?”. The session was designed to provide faculty members with practical guidance and strategies to enhance their research output and align with global academic publishing standards.

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Nadia Anwar, Acting Dean of the School of Liberal Arts (SLA) and Professor at Superior University. With her extensive academic and research expertise, Dr. Anwar shared a wealth of insights on the process of academic publishing—from identifying suitable journals to structuring papers, following ethical guidelines, and meeting international quality benchmarks.

The session brought together faculty members from the Departments of English and Islamic Studies, who actively engaged in the discussions and expressed their keen interest in applying the knowledge to strengthen their individual and collective research contributions. By focusing on writing, formatting, and peer-review standards, the workshop equipped participants with the tools to confidently navigate the competitive world of scholarly publishing.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Nadia Anwar emphasized the importance of research in fostering knowledge creation, academic credibility, and global recognition. She encouraged participants to approach publishing not just as a requirement, but as an opportunity to influence academic discourse and contribute meaningfully to society.

The workshop concluded with a reaffirmation of Superior University’s vision of cultivating future-ready researchers and scholars. Through such initiatives, CAKCCIS continues to play a vital role in building faculty capacity, advancing academic excellence, and positioning Superior University as a hub of impactful research in Pakistan.
