On the eighth day of Research Week 2024, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Superior University Lahore hosted a compelling seminar titled “Addressing Climate Change and Financial Stability: Innovations in Pharmacy Research” in the Pharmacy Auditorium.
The seminar brought together national and international thought leaders, including Prof. Dr. Aneela Anwar from the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, Dr. Muhammad Yar from COMSATS University, and Dr. Alicja Kosik-Kozioł and Prof. Dr. Filippo Pierini from Poland, who shared their insights on the evolving role of pharmacy research. The seminar was moderated by Dr. Ahmed Umer Sohaib which focused on innovative research techniques and the collaborative approaches required to advance pharmacy in the face of global challenges.
A key highlight of the seminar was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Albert Pharma Private Limited, marking Superior University’s continued commitment to bridging academia and industry. The MoU was signed by Dr. Kanwal Ashiq, with esteemed representatives from Albert Pharma, including Dr. Ahdania Batool, Mr. Asim Zubair, and Dr. Rizwan, underscoring the importance of collaborative efforts in advancing pharmaceutical research.
The seminar highlighted the importance of innovative pharmaceutical research in promoting climate resilience and financial stability.
