
On the occasion of Earth Day 2026, the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) successfully organized Envion-26 on April 22, 2026, at Superior University, as part of Research Week 2026.
The event was jointly hosted by the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences and the Faculty of Sciences, bringing together academic experts and industry leaders to emphasize innovation, sustainability, and collaborative impact. Thought-provoking panel discussions highlighted the shared responsibility of academia and industry in shaping a more sustainable future.
A key highlight of the event was the signing of multiple Memorandums of Understanding with TrustMed Labs & Diagnostic Healthcare Network, Canli Institute of Emerging Health Technologies, and Zero Waste Solutions. These partnerships aim to enhance student learning, research exposure, and industry engagement in sustainability and healthcare innovation.
The event concluded with an Earth Day cake-cutting ceremony held under the patronage of Rector Prof. Dr. Sumaira Rehman and the supervision of Dean FAHS/FOS Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naveed Babur, marking a meaningful celebration of environmental awareness and collective action.
