The Research Week 2024 at Superior University commenced with the 1st International Conference on Contemporary Islamic Sciences (ICCIS), themed “Exploring New Horizons for Islamic Sciences in the Contemporary Era.” The event was organized by the Chaudhry Abdul Khaliq Center for Contemporary Islamic Sciences (CAKCCIS) and held at the Fazal Muhammad Auditorium.
The event welcomed an array of distinguished guests, including chief guests Prof. Dr. Nisar Hussain Hamdani, a pioneer in Divine Economics with advanced research experience from Harvard and the London School of Economics, and Prof. Dr. Musharraf Hussain, Principal of the Crimea Institute, UK. The luminaries shared valuable insights rooted in their expansive academic and professional expertise.
The conference was led by Mr. Syed Ali Mohsin Naqvi, Director of CAKCCIS, and fostered vibrant discussions on the modern-day applications of Islamic sciences. The event provided a platform for meaningful dialogue that underscored the enduring significance of Islamic scholarship in tackling contemporary global issues.
