Programs to Improve Access to Basic Services

Superior University is committed to improving access to basic services through its community-focused training initiatives. Under the Social Entrepreneurship Program in collaboration with the British Council’s Active Citizens framework, the university regularly conducts awareness and capacity-building sessions for underserved communities.

These programs include training on safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene practices, preventive healthcare, digital literacy, and financial inclusion for women and youth. Each activity is designed to help participants access essential public services and enhance their quality of life through knowledge and self-reliance.

3,856 students and 5,083 trained volunteers participated in community engagement projects, conducting over 50 plantation drives, organizing 44 medical camps, and distributing over 45,000 ration packs. Through these efforts, more than 176,000 individuals from low-income and rural areas benefited from improved access to health, hygiene, and digital services. Superior University’s commitment is further strengthened through 158 character-building trainings, 73 community collaborations, and over 19.3 million PKR invested in community projects.

These initiatives reflect the university’s mission to promote inclusive growth and social well-being, directly supporting SDG 1.4 by ensuring equitable access to basic services and empowering communities toward sustainable development.
