We were privileged to host Dr. Shuja Ali Mirza, Founder & Director of Jamia Ilmiya Toronto and Rector of the School of Islamic and Occidental Studies (SIOS), for an enlightening session on “Knowledge and Science in Islam: The Lost Sciences.”
The event, held on Thursday, 9th January 2025, at the Chaudhry Fazal Muhammad Auditorium, Superior University, offered a deep dive into the often-overlooked contributions of Islamic scholars to science, philosophy, and knowledge throughout history. Dr. Mirza’s presentation beautifully illuminated the forgotten legacy of intellectual achievements that have shaped modern scientific and philosophical thought.
