
The second day of Superior University’s Research Week 2024 marked the concluding session of the inaugural International Conference on Contemporary Islamic Sciences (ICCIS), organized by the Centre for Advanced Knowledge in Contemporary Islamic Sciences (CAKCCIS) at Superior University.
The conference opened with welcoming remarks from Dr. Ali Akbar Al-Azhari of CAKCCIS, setting the tone for a day of in-depth discussions on Islamic scholarship in today’s world. The first session, chaired by Dr. Zahoor ul Azhari from Al Qadir University and moderated by Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Mudassar Shafique, brought together scholars and participants for a rich exchange of ideas.
The second session continued the momentum, chaired by Prof. Dr. Nawaz Hasni from the University of Lahore and moderated by Dr. Neelam Bano, Assistant Professor and PG Program Leader in Islamic Studies at Superior University. This session furthered the intellectual discourse, encouraging meaningful dialogue on contemporary challenges and solutions within Islamic sciences.
The 1st International Conference on Contemporary Islamic Sciences (ICCIS) served as a vital platform for advancing Islamic knowledge by engaging participants in new methodologies and perspectives.
