Superior University proudly hosted the Sports Scholarship Awards 2025 on Wednesday, 27th August, to honour 151 outstanding student-athletes, selected from over 1,000 participants through 31 rigorous sports trials. This year, the university awarded an extraordinary PKR 500 million worth of scholarships—recognising not only athletic talent but the values of discipline, perseverance, and leadership that these young individuals exemplify.
The ceremony was graced by Rector, Prof. Dr. Sumaira Rehman, who delivered a heartfelt and empowering address. She applauded the athletes for their dedication, resilience, and courage, urging them to continue chasing their dreams with purpose and to inspire others through their journeys. “This ceremony is more than a celebration of physical achievement—it’s a reflection of the spirit that defines Superior University. Each of you has shown what it means to lead with integrity, to rise through challenge, and to turn potential into performance,” she said.
Dr. Sumaira reaffirmed the university’s belief in sports as a powerful tool for holistic education. “At Superior, sports are not just games. They are a journey of growth—of building character, leadership, and emotional strength. Our investment in sports is an investment in the future leaders and nation-builders of Pakistan.”
She further encouraged students across disciplines to explore the wide array of scholarships still available, reinforcing the university’s mission to empower ambition in all its forms—academic, entrepreneurial, creative, and athletic. “We believe that every dream deserves a platform, and at Superior, we are committed to providing that platform through access, opportunity, and unwavering support.”
