Superior University and LCCI Join Forces to Bridge Academia-Industry Divide

Superior University has taken another decisive step toward enhancing practical education and employability by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). This strategic partnership aims to close the gap between academic learning and industry demands, creating impactful opportunities for students and professionals alike.

The MoU signing ceremony took place at the LCCI headquarters, where Khawaja Hisham-ul-Hasan, Director Superior University, and Shahid Nazir, Vice President LCCI, formally sealed the agreement. The collaboration symbolizes a mutual commitment to aligning academic curricula with market needs, while fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

Under this partnership, both institutions will collaborate on a wide range of initiatives including joint research projects, development of industry-aligned academic programs, skill development trainings, and internship and job placement opportunities. This integrative approach will not only equip students with real-world skills but also support emerging entrepreneurs in navigating the competitive business landscape.

The ceremony was further honored by the presence of Dr. Arfan Jaffar, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Sciences and IT, and Tayyab Anwar Rao, President of the Superior Alumni Association. Their participation reinforced the university’s dedication to building a dynamic ecosystem that connects academia, alumni, and industry stakeholders.
