Superior University has taken another significant step towards institutional growth and innovation as its 23rd Board of Governors (BoG) meeting concluded with landmark strategic decisions aimed at strengthening the University’s future. Chaired by Prof. Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Rehman, Chairman of the Board of Governors and The Superior Group, the meeting brought together distinguished academic leaders, policymakers, and members of the University’s senior leadership.
The session was attended by prominent personalities, including Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Punjab Higher Education Commission; Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi, Vice Chancellor of Lahore College for Women University; Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf, representing the Higher Education Commission; Mrs. Zahida Azhar, Additional Secretary of the Higher Education Department; Prof. Dr. Sumaira Rehman, Rector of Superior University; Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Khaliq; Mr. Azhar; Prof. Dr. Khawaja Hisham-ul-Hassan; and Chaudhry Hamza Rehman, alongside other members of the University’s leadership.
During the meeting, the Board acknowledged Superior University’s remarkable progress under its 3C Model: Character, Courage, and Competence, recognizing it as a transformative educational framework capable of inspiring higher education institutions across Pakistan. The members appreciated the University’s continued focus on academic quality, innovation, entrepreneurship, research, and student development.
Among the meeting’s most significant decisions was the approval to lay the foundation stone of the Superior Technology Park within the coming month. The initiative is expected to strengthen industry-academia collaboration, promote research commercialization, encourage technological innovation, and create new opportunities for students, researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry partners.
The strategic decisions made during the 23rd Board of Governors meeting reaffirm Superior University’s commitment to expanding access to quality education, advancing research and innovation, and shaping future-ready graduates who contribute meaningfully to national development.
