Superior University played a prominent role in advancing Pakistan’s global academic presence at the Eurasian Higher Education Summit (EURIE 2026), held in Istanbul, Türkiye.
As part of a high-level delegation led by the Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP), the university actively participated in strategic engagements aimed at strengthening international collaboration. The delegation, comprising 42 members from 17 leading Pakistani universities, reflected the growing confidence and collective strength of Pakistan’s higher education sector.
A key highlight of the summit was the high-level meeting with Prof. Dr Erol Özvar, President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Türkiye. The meeting was led by Prof. Dr Chaudhry Abdul Rehman, Chairman APSUP, alongside Prof. Dr Sumaira Rehman, Rector Superior University, and Chaudhry Hamza Rehman, Vice President Superior University.
Discussions focused on strengthening Pakistan–Türkiye academic relations through educational diplomacy, with emphasis on technology transfer, joint research initiatives, and faculty and student mobility programmes. The dialogue also opened new avenues for collaboration, including participation in Türkiye’s research initiatives and expanded institutional partnerships.
Another defining moment was the keynote address by Prof. Dr Sumaira Rehman, who powerfully presented Pakistan’s educational vision on a global stage. As a distinguished voice among international leaders, she highlighted the importance of character-driven education, advocating for the development of future leaders grounded in Character, Courage, and Competence. Her message resonated strongly with the global audience, positioning Pakistan as a thoughtful and progressive contributor to international academia.
The Pakistan Pavilion emerged as a hub of global engagement, attracting significant international interest and facilitating discussions on partnerships, joint ventures, and academic exchange with institutions from Europe, Asia, and beyond.
