
A team of MBBS students from Superior University has achieved remarkable success in the Entrepreneurship Teaching & Training Program (ETTIP) Spring 2025 competition, securing the overall Healthcare Runner-Up position among 35 competing startup ideas. The innovative project “Translation Glasses For Blind,” developed under the guidance of Coach Dr. Saima Irum, demonstrated exceptional creativity and practical application in addressing healthcare challenges.
The team’s achievement was celebrated by the Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Center for Entrepreneurship Development (CMACED), which recognized the students’ innovative approach and dedication. As part of their award, the team received seed funding of 50,000 PKR to further develop their prototype and business concept.
Her guidance and commitment were crucial in shaping the project and preparing the students for the competitive environment.The competition, which featured numerous innovative startup ideas from across the institution, highlighted Superior University’s growing culture of entrepreneurship and practical innovation.
The “Translation Glasses For Blind” project stood out for its unique combination of healthcare technology and assistive device development, aiming to improve quality of life for visually impaired individuals.
