Superior University's Award-Winning Health Tech Startup Advances as Top 40 Finalist

Superior University’s acclaimed student-led startup, the Smart Pill Dispenser, has achieved a significant milestone by being selected among the Top 40 Finalists in the prestigious SSKIC Innovators’ Den Startup Grant Challenge. The competition, hosted at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) in Karachi, identifies and funds Pakistan’s most promising entrepreneurial ventures.

The Smart Pill Dispenser, an AI-powered automated system designed to enhance medication adherence and patient care, will now progress to the critical final pitch stage. On December 18, 2025, the team will present its innovative business model and technology directly to a panel of seasoned industry experts, potential investors, and venture capitalists, competing for vital grant funding and mentorship opportunities.

This notable achievement underscores the exceptional talent and dedication of Superior University’s students and the effectiveness of its entrepreneurial ecosystem, supported by initiatives like the Entrepreneurship Teaching & Training Program (ETTP) and Innovation District 92.
