
The University of Lahore recently hosted the first regional roundtable of the upcoming Rectors’ Conference 2024, centred on the theme, “Character Mastery: The Key to Achieving and Sustaining Success.” The distinguished gathering united 24 leaders, including Vice Chancellors, Rectors, and Chairmen of Boards of Governors from 11 public and 13 private universities across Punjab.
The session underscored the critical role of character mastery as a foundation for both personal and professional growth. The discussions highlighted how cultivating strong character enhances leadership, integrity, and drives long-term success within academic institutions and beyond, setting a new standard for future leaders. The emphasis on moral and ethical growth aims to reshape higher education in Punjab by blending academic excellence with character development, aligning institutions with the evolving demands of society.
