SEE Pakistan 2026, Pakistan’s largest entrepreneurial expo, brought together young innovators, universities, policymakers, international leaders, and industry stakeholders to celebrate the country’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem and the potential of its youth.
Held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sumaira Rehman, Rector, Superior University and Patron-in-Chief, SEE Pakistan, the expo showcased a decade-long journey of nurturing an ambitious generation grounded in Character, Courage, and Competence and prepared to become Opportunity Creators.
The event featured 4,000+ national startup applications from 250 universities, including more than 1,500 female-led ventures, alongside 300+ international applications from around 40 countries. Following 17 rigorous rounds, the initiative brought together talent spanning 49 countries, 285 cities, and 647 institutes, culminating in 100 qualified startups presenting their ideas and ventures.

In her address, Prof. Dr. Sumaira Rehman emphasized that youth innovation is only one part of Pakistan’s economic progress. She called for stronger government support through policy reform, responsive governance, better healthcare and education, and a stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem. That turns innovation into sustainable national growth.
The expo also welcomed distinguished national and international leaders. H.E. Ina Lepel, German Ambassador to Pakistan, highlighted the value of international academic exchange and invited Pakistani students to explore higher education opportunities in Germany. H.E. Stetson Sanders, US Consul General in Lahore, encouraged young founders to develop a global mindset and harness emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, to drive economic growth and job creation.
Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Chairman Higher Education Commission Pakistan, praised the entrepreneurial potential of Pakistani youth and urged universities to strengthen research and innovation with meaningful impact on industry and society. Wajiha Qamar, Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, highlighted SEE Pakistan’s nine-year journey of building a national startup platform and encouraged young founders to turn their ideas into action.
Mr. Awais Raouf, Chairman Board of Governors, University of Lahore, stressed that Pakistan’s youth already possess the ambition and talent, but require an ecosystem that enables their ideas to scale through structural reform, decentralized governance, access to resources, and greater opportunities.
With universities united through the Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP), SEE Pakistan 2026 demonstrated that Pakistan’s young generation is not simply preparing for the future. They are actively building it.
From startup pitches and innovative solutions to international engagement and entrepreneurial ideas. The message from SEE Pakistan 2026 was clear: Pakistan’s youth are ready to create for the world, and the world is watching.
