The Superior IEEE-CS Society, in collaboration with IEEE Bahria University Islamabad, organized an engaging seminar on “Deep Learning & Next-Generation Cybersecurity Systems” at Superior University. The event brought together students, researchers, and technology enthusiasts eager to explore the cutting edge of artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity.
The session was led by Dr. Muhammad Zunnurain Hussain, Director IT at IGRP Lahore, Senior Member IEEE, and a globally recognized expert with over 500 international certifications and 35+ journal publications to his credit. With extensive expertise in AI, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Computing, Dr. Hussain is also the driving force behind three international startups operating in the domains of Security, Digital Forensics, and Gaming across the US, UK, and German markets.
In his talk, Dr. Hussain not only shared theoretical frameworks but also provided hands-on exposure to real-world applications of Deep Learning in strengthening cybersecurity infrastructures. He emphasized how emerging technologies are reshaping digital defense mechanisms, highlighting both opportunities and challenges for future professionals. The seminar proved highly interactive, with participants posing insightful questions and receiving practical guidance from the industry expert.
This initiative was particularly meaningful as it aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—notably SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth), and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure).
