Superior University Conducts Pakistan’s First Industry-Evaluated Culinary Skill Assessment

Superior University’s School of Culinary Arts has achieved a historic milestone by conducting Pakistan’s first-ever industry-evaluated final skill test under the Professional Chef Competency Program (PCCP).

The landmark assessment brought together aspiring culinary professionals who spent six months refining their discipline, creativity, and professional expertise through intensive practical training. Students demonstrated their abilities by preparing complete four-course fine dining meals from scratch, showcasing technical precision, innovation, and culinary excellence.

The final evaluation was conducted by a distinguished panel of industry experts, including Olivier Francais from Avari Punjab, Chef Rasheed from Banera Country Club, and Chef Wasif from Salt Pakistan, ensuring students were assessed against real industry standards.

Among the participants, Chef Lajwerd Ghumman secured the Gold Medal, while Chef Abdullah earned the Silver Medal and Chef Hanzala Zubair received the Bronze Medal for their outstanding performances.
