Superior University Hosts Awareness Session on Ending TB in Punjab

Superior University, in collaboration with Punjab Tuberculosis Control Program (PTB Punjab), organised an impactful awareness session titled “Ending TB in Punjab: From Awareness to Action.”

The session aimed to promote public health awareness, break the stigma associated with tuberculosis (TB), and encourage collective responsibility towards building a healthier, TB-free society. Participants were engaged in meaningful discussions highlighting the importance of early diagnosis, prevention, and community-based action in controlling the spread of TB.

Health experts and speakers emphasised that raising awareness is a critical step in eliminating tuberculosis, especially through education, timely treatment, and community support. The session also encouraged students and participants to play an active role in spreading accurate information and supporting affected individuals without stigma or discrimination.
