A research paper titled “Transcriptomic Profiling and miRNA-Target Gene Network Construction Reveals Epigenetic Drivers of Glucocorticoid-Induced Osteoporosis” has been published in Archives of Medical Research, a Scopus Q1-indexed journal with an Impact Factor of 3.4.

The study identified KLF4 as a key regulatory hub in glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis, revealing its role in connecting miRNAs, transcription factors, and osteoblast-related pathways. The findings provide new insights into the molecular mechanisms of the disease and highlight KLF4 and its associated miRNA networks as promising biomarkers and therapeutic targets for preventing bone loss and improving osteoporosis treatment.

The research was authored by Amina Abid, Lecturer, Faculty of Sciences, Superior University, Lahore, reflecting the University’s continued commitment to advancing high-impact biomedical research and scientific innovation.
